10/90

The 10/90 program is the form we recommend stars help workers. This simply means that they would assign the 90% of their fixed net part of their brands contract deals to the workers. We also recommend stars keep a 10% of their money in order to cover unexpected costs and to not damage interests of persons working directly with them. In addition, they could maintain the variable part of their contracts (e.g. royalties, bonuses for performance, etc.), which are very common for the athletes. Certainly, the 10/90 ratio is only a suggested program. Stars could choose other options for collaborating, but we encourage this exemplar way of helping workers as a standard.

LEARN MORE ABOUT HOW STARS GET MONEY FROM ENDORSEMENTS

We know that several stars donate money and they help community through different ways. But, generally speaking, they have to capacity to do much more with that money, helping the weakest link in the chain: workers.

We strongly believe that athletes should be involved in social issues. They should use their platform to positively evoke change. Some of them have claimed publicly the need of involvement with regard to several social themes. Now it’s the time to definetively evoke change for the labor conditions of workers in the garment industry.
